Ahhhh I can’t sleep. I have to wake up in 2 hours to go to Father Dom’s mass.  Our family’s spending the whole Labor Day with him. (I’ll blog about it later)

It’s been a very long day and a long day to come. We had Sportsfest the whole day. We had a good game against LA; we really just need to practice (EVERYONE….TOGETHER…). After explaining how the South Bay Youth will inform Mr. Bear about current activities, and he will inform Maria and Lucy, and they will tell “Dead Rocko” and “Black market oriental rug Mico”, we all went to Erick’s to gorge on good food and watch Filipino Journey.

I was reading my old blogs and oh my gosh I was ugly. Haha Here I am FOUR years later. I first blogged about being scared of going to high school, now I’m in the 2^nd year of college! Vierd. So much has changed since then (not just hair color/length), but just my way of thinking and different, new experiences.

I guess what I’ve learned since then is patience. Things will come when and IF they are supposed to. I also used to blabber my feelings to everybody, letting everyone know everything about me and what was going on. Now I totally feel it’s no one’s business but mine, and only if I chose to tell you. I feel like people just wanna know about you just out of curiosity, not concern. I also don’t want to get too deep (unless invited) n other people’s business because I don’t want that to happen to me.

I’m still wondering what this whole “love” thing is about. I mean what is it? And how do you know it’s love and not intense infatuation or extreme like? Ehh…I guess we’ll see when it happens…

Today was a pretty good day. i woke up around 11 (i would've slept longer but i had planned) to eat with Vickie and Grace for our weekly VGA meals. I love them cuz it's our time to catch up on watever and just hang out. Today's was Grace turn to pick a eatery so she chose "Open Sesame" on 2nd St. It's a Mediterranean Grill, mostly Lebanese. I don't think the value is good for the price because i got a sandwhich that was $6 and it was tiny. Then we went to the "Great Food, Horrible Service Le Creperie" to get a Bananas Flambe a la mode crepe...mMm my fave! I did a quick stop at the hospital to check on Tatang (and to check out the hot physical therapist guy lol), then i went to Teri House to get some forms, uniform, go over the employee manual and take a tour of the place.

So my DEBUT is just 3 weeks, 3 days away, i'm not really overwelmed yet cuz most of the things can be done the week/day of/before.

It will be held at The Grand in Long Beach. I know, i was always against the place too just cuz it's been done so many times. But since i'm doing a small, intimate party, i justify it by using the Pacific room, a small room most people have never been in.

MY DAD! i chose 4 other couples to partake in this dance. it's NOT a COURT, just friends and family dancing...and wearing coordinating outfits... jk...

my color is orange so i'll have orange centerpieces. There will be 3 square glass vases on the table--one with tulips, one with roses, and one with pin cushion flowers. 

My table numbers will be different years of my life (1989...1991...2007) and a pic or two of me that year. Kinda like these...

I'll also have personalized menu cards that will double (or triple) as place cards and programs. i love napkin pockets cuz i seldom see them done at debuts.

I went to a tasting event last week. Usually only brides are invited but since my event coordinator liked me so much, she made an exception. This is my plate full of delicious food i didn't chose for my buffet.

I'm getting my cake at Red Ribbon. i went to another cake place and thought $400 was a bit too much for a 80 person cake that was too sweet anyway. This DELICIOUS chocolate cake with vanilla bavarian cream filling is just $200. Cheers to Red Ribbon on this one! and they're Mango Cake...hehe...

Yesterday we went snowboarding. it was a first for me, yan, and ‘nice. At first I was frustrated and regretting going cuz I couldn’t do it. after trying the bunny slope I quit and ate the lodge. i met THE nicest, hottest puti guy, EVER. haha too bad I had to leave to meet up with the rest. me yan and bruce chilled a little longer after we FINALLY found a table. then I decided to give the bunny slopes another try, and I GOT IT! frm then I was hooked and went again. then on intermediate where we, wand, and nice got down really quickly. afterwards we went to Ms BNP. congrats to LARS! it was the BEST MS BNP, EVER!
